HABITAT TEASER
In 2026 I will present HABITAT, a work I’ve made during my artist in residency at Waakvogels/BirdEyes in 2025 (www.waakvogels.nl / www.birdeyes.org).
HABITAT is an audiovisual work giving you an in-depth experience of the ecological richness of the tidal flats of Richel, Griend, and 't Sehaal (Terschelling), three places in the Wadden Sea about 15 km apart. In this work you’re guided by the voice of ecologist Dr. Allert Bijleveld, who observes these photos through his own perspective as a scientist, but also from the perspective of a migratory bird.
The work will be shown from 9-11 October at Ruimte 59-61 in Amsterdam, and from 18-10 until 22-11 at ACEC in Apeldoorn!
